In fact, these are the batteries used by a majority of wheelchair manufacturers. We provide two types of non-spillable batteries: Gel and AGM.
Gel batteries have a superior deep cycle life, but AGM batteries operate better at temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Unless you have a specific reason to switch types, we recommended that you replace your scooter's battery with a similar type battery. For example, if your scooter came with an AGM battery then replace it with an AGM battery. We do believe, however, that you will get great performance out of either type of battery.
